Now here's a way to really style your wedding! Ceiling flowers are an incredibly indulgent way to take a venue from wow to woooowzers! But although we have included some show stoppers here, there are many ways to create that floor to ceiling ambience without having an unlimited budget to match.
We don't have favourites at The Country Flower Company but one of last year's most memorable weddings was held in the Groom's parents garden and one of the most gorgeous styling elements was the blush pink roses hanging in recycled emerald-tinged bottles from every branch, gate and ceiling twig. In the evening, candles were lit in hanging glass baubles and it truly looked spectacular and was genuinely inexpensive.
For a marquee, branches and twigs can be entwined and hung over tables - this provides ample hooks for flowers and candles to be hung. Just a simple open peony or a posy of fluffy white gypsophila can be placed in a jam jar, tied with rustic twine and hooped over a branch to mirror similar styled centrepieces on the tables.
In more formal city or stately venues, large spheres of flowers can create beautiful hanging chandeliers or provide a romantic feature for the bride and groom to dance all night under.
Ceiling or hanging wedding flowers most definitely have a wonderful impact on the ambience of a wedding and with creative ways to make your flower budget stretch further, they should absolutely be on your must have list!
